is a freelance director, writer and spoken-word performer/ poet. They are currently based in London and the wider area.
Dillon began dancing when she was about four years old, which she describes as her 'nudge' into the performing arts. Throughout her adolescence, Dillon regularly taught dance to younger children and mentored young creatives. Alongside this, she obtained a diploma in Acting from Victoria College Of Music, as well as undertook an Acting For Screen course at Middleweek Newton Acting Academy.
At 18, Dillon began studying Drama at the University of Exeter, where their interest for directing began to thrive. During her time there, Dillon directed and/ or wrote a number of plays from student to professional standard. After graduating Exeter with a first class degree, she went on to study a Theatre Directing Masters at East 15 Acting School.
East 15 pushed Dillon to their creative maximum and whilst studying, she gained her first Off West-End credit at The Park, and secured several freelance jobs off the back of her distinction MA.
She has now been working freelance and enjoys always having a project to sink her teeth into.
"For me, theatre is a mirror for everyone to see themselves in. Unfortunately, representation is still not where it needs to be. My priorities are making space for stories we have not seen in the mainstream yet. Stories that are dynamic, raw, original... this definitely drives my work."
